Direct Network Marketing

If you had a choice to sell Porsches or Toyotas which one do you think you would sell? Well, direct network marketing or direct sales or top tier direct sales is like selling those Porsches. While MLM and traditional network marketing would be like selling Toyotas.

Just think of the commissions of selling a Porsche Turbo versus a Toyota Camry. Also, think of the clientele that you would be working with. Well these are all of the things that make direct network marketing so exciting.

To further differentiate between direct network marketing, MLM and traditional network marketing I'll use a concept that Mike Dillard made famous. For those that don't know Mike Dillard he is a legendary marketer and author/entrepreneur in the network marketing community.

The concept GPT stands for "get paid today." And what it means is instead of having to worry about attrition with traditional MLM or network marketing outfits, join a top tier or direct sales company. With these companies instead of puny checks you collect huge checks. And usually the payout isn't as pyramided as traditional MLM or network marketing companies.

The beauty of direct sales is that you make more money and usually you're selling products that have a higher price tag. Along with the higher price tag is usually a higher commission. And with higher commissions on selling those higher priced items it's not long before you're talking real money. No more puny commission checks.

Direct Network Marketing Pros

The major gripe from most MLMers who are considering a top tier direct network marketing opportunity is that it is harder to sell higher priced items. But this is hogwash. In fact it is just as difficult to sell a product that is worth $100 as it is as one worth $1000 if you don't know how to market.

Here are a couple of things to keep in mind if you're considering a top tier opportunity. First, these opportunities usually require a much higher start up than traditional MLM or network marketing opportunities. The second thing is, in most cases the companies are much more sophisticated in terms of network marketing training and lucrative compensation for their distributors.

With so many industry leaders flocking to direct sales companies it won't be long before you try your hand at it as well. Just be sure to do your due diligence and just like any business, if you don't work it, it won't work.
